Ahh life is a beach...

Shooting at the beach... well it can make you want to scream with joy or pain... High contrasts, sand in the camera, iconic moments, a relaxing venue that can bring a smile to most hardened of subjects.. Beach photography is all of the above. The key to getting it right on you camera and to the picture you see is being really aware of your surroundings.. That bright sky is going to be a hard contrast so maybe downward tilt might put more of the ocean or the sand (less contrasty) to work with. That wonderful sand that  your walking on... see how it sticks to your toes... its going to be doing the same thing to the inside of your camera..(don't change lens).  Because its so bright out  there is a really good chance that  your subjects will squint s o maybe facing away from  the sun might work just fine.

 You can really do some delightful things at the beach and create some wonderful memories you just have to use a little more thought in what you do before you click,
